越来越疯狂？美国电视台欲宣扬阴谋论，称福奇“制造”新冠病毒
据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）7月25日报道，美国辛克莱广播集团旗下的地方电视台计划于近期播出一档包含新冠病毒阴谋论的节目。该阴谋论宣称，美国顶级传染病专家安东尼·福奇在过去的十年里“制造”了新冠病毒，然后把它“运输”到了武汉，后来就有了新冠疫情的全球大流行。
提出这一阴谋论的人是朱迪·米科维茨（Judy Mikovits）。米科维茨是今年早些时候臭名昭著的阴谋论影片“Plandemic”的主角，她曾提出多项骇人听闻的指控，如声称新冠病毒是从实验室中制造的，背后涉及微软公司创始人比尔·盖茨，以及口罩会“激活”病毒并使人患病等。该影片已被Facebook和YouTube等平台禁播。
此事被CNN曝光后，地方电视台开始不断收到观众的投诉，人们要求电视台禁播包含“福奇阴谋论”的视频片段。
随后，辛克莱广播集团表态称，公司并不支持这个阴谋论，播出该节目的初衷只是为了让人们听到更多“不同的声音”。同时，公司的相关负责人表示，该节目会在修改后推迟播出。
CNN reported on Saturday that the U.S.' Sinclair Broadcast Group had planned to air a conspiracy theory that suggests Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation's top expert on infectious disease, created the coronavirus and shipped it to Wuhan, China. The groundless conspiracy theory was proposed by Judy Mikovits, the medical researcher featured in the discredited "Plandemic" video. Fortunately, after this story was published, local television stations started receiving complaints from viewers and the company announced that it would postpone and rework the segment featuring the conspiracy theory about Fauci.
福奇最近的日子不好过
自新冠疫情在美国暴发以来，白宫和福奇就常常意见相左。
最近，随着美国疫情的进一步恶化，多位白宫官员开始“抹黑”福奇，企图转嫁政府抗疫不力的责任。有官员指责他在疫情暴发期间屡屡做出误判，还有官员在社交媒体上分享了一幅讽刺漫画，将福奇（Fauci）比作“水龙头”（Faucet），暗示“福奇的防疫措施将会把美国经济冲进下水道。”
虽然这些指控并不属实，但是它们却为福奇招来了不少仇恨。
近日，福奇在接受采访时表示，最近收到的恐吓信越来越多，妻子和女儿也遭到了严重的威胁。
“有人认为我提出的防疫政策干涉了他们的生活，他们对此非常气愤，”福奇说道。同时，他表示“不明白这个社会为什么会变成这样。”
“太难了……这真的是美国吗？”福奇感慨道。

He said in a recent interview that he has been receiving more and more hate mails threatening not only him but also his family members.

Nearly 3,500 health experts have signed an open letter to U.S. President Donald Trump in support of Fauci. It comes in response to attacks against Fauci from officials within the Trump administration. "Since the beginning of the pandemic, Fauci has remained one of the world’s most trusted scientists on COVID-19, daily explaining in lay terms the complexity of an illness we still don’t fully understand," the letter states. "As current and former public health officials, researchers, and public health professionals, we call on our political leaders, members of the media and all Americans to reject the sidelining of science," it adds.
